"The name is a bit of a tease since it's a few miles away from the beach", but this "well-maintained" resort is "close to good restaurants and shopping" and offers an "inviting executive golf course", a "relaxing pool" with "fun cabanas" and "attentive service", plus a "pretty good" breakfast buffet; rooms are "nicely appointed" with beds you'll "want to take home", but a few say those "popcorn ceilings" "need to be updated."

It is the little things, towels and linens live span in service is noticeable.

It is a 3 star hotel, that one time started as a 4 star. The little things life span of towels, tube TVs, a little worn around the edges. $15 per day parking, weak showers.

Room was convenient to El Segundo and Manhattan Beach areas. Nice clean room with good bedding. Parking was $15 per day not included in the room price. Shower was weak and a bit dingy.

Mixed bag of staff, some very attentive, others not at all.

Room was nice. Ordered a roll-away for one child. It was terrible. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, and old. Also, our tray from room service was left outside our door for 36 hours. Took 3 calls to have someone remove it, despite housekeeping cleaning our room daily. The food from room service was good (but no one wants to look at the remains for 36 hours!). ...read more
